f(x) (play /ˌɛf ˈɛks/; Korean: 에프엑스) is a five member South Korean girl group formed by SM Entertainment in 2009. The name is a play on the mathematical notation for function, and when input with different 'x', there can be many different outcomes. The f stands for flower and the x represents the female's double x chromosome. f(x) strives to be the kind of girl group that can change and adapt to many situations. The group members have also been nicknamed "function girls". The group made their debut on September 1, 2009 with release of a digital single "La Cha Ta" (stylized as "LA chA TA"). The quintet consists of Victoria, Amber, Luna, Sulli and Krystal.

firstly is SISTAR *ppyong!*



Sistar (Hangul: 씨스타, stylized as SISTAR) is a four-member South Korean girl group under the management of Starship Entertainment. The members are: Hyolyn, Bora, Soyu and Dasom.[1][2][3] On June 3, 2010, they released their debut single "Push Push" and made their debut on Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) Music Bank. On August 25, they released their second single "Shady Girl" featuring Super Junior's Heechul and followed up with "How Dare You" on November 29. On May 5, 2011, Hyolyn and Bora made their debut in a sub-group called Sistar19 on M! Countdown with "Ma Boy". The group made their return with their first official album titled So Cool on August 9.

F.T. Island (Korean: 에프티 아일랜드 Japanese: エフティー・アイランド; stylized as FTISLAND), short for Five Treasure Island, is a five-member South Korean band. The members are Choi Jong Hun (guitar and keyboard), Lee Hongki (lead vocals) Lee Jae Jin (bass and vocals), Song Seung Hyun (guitar and vocals), and Choi Min Hwan (drums). Their debut album, titled "Cheerful Sensibility", was the sixth best-selling album in 2007. Their debut song "Lovesick" topped the K-Pop charts for eight consecutive weeks.[2] Oh Won Bin was a member of the band until the beginning of 2009.
